The first ever Carnival in Kumasi which was organised by the KOMANGHASU team with support from the Diaspora office in Ghana and the kumasi metropolitan assembly was successfully held. "The purpose of this is to meet or welcome all descendants of Afro Diaspora in Ghana as part  of the year of Return". Kumasi Carnival has come to stay as it will be an annual event.
